Custom cast buttons for the Game Boy Pocket

These are made using custom molds made by Lab Fifteen. The great thing about these is that it has a fully functioning Dpad unlike the ones that currently sold from in china that do not hit the diagonals

First a clear resin is poured and allowed to cure, then a mica powder is put in and back filled is a colored resin

It is done like this so that the metallic effect will no wear off while playing and should remain in good condition as it is encapsulated beneath the clear resin

Mica powder may be patchy on the part of the button not seen, unfortunately this is just the nature of the process.
